BILINGUAL HR & OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

HR & Operations Coordinator (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Pay: $18-$20 per hour

Hybrid Work Option: Minimum 2 days onsite

Our client is looking for an HR & Operations Coordinator to provide essential support to our Director of HR and CEO in recruitment, operations and administrative tasks across multiple Indigenous owned and operated businesses. In this role, you’ll conduct phone interviews, coordinate hiring efforts with managers, and assist with onboarding. You will also be responsible for scheduling and administrative support for the CEO, ensuring her calendar and tasks are managed effectively. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do:

  • Write engaging job ads that attract top talent, screen and source candidates, and help conduct interviews to find the perfect fit for our team.

  • Be responsible for managing our talent pipeline. 

  • Assist in welcoming new hires and ensuring they have a smooth onboarding. 

  • Help with HRIS administration and other essential HR and operational tasks to keep everything running smoothly.

  • Oversee the CEO’s calendar, ensuring meetings and tasks are effectively organized as well as providing her with administrative support as needed.

  • Work closely with the Head of HR and the CEO to support various HR & Operations initiatives across our businesses.

  • Act as an on-the-ground resource working directly with managers and team members across multiple businesses (having your own vehicle is a requirement)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Must be fluent in both French and English to communicate effectively with our diverse team.

  • Comfortable using various computer applications and HRIS software - experience with Humi an asset!

  • Bring your friendly demeanour and a can-do spirit to the workplace!

  • A basic understanding or experience in HR and recruitment 

  • Must have your own vehicle 

  • Ability to be on-site 2-3 days per week
